Composition of FPC circuit board

1. Circuit and Surface: As a tool for conducting wires between components, a large copper surface will be designed as a grounding and power plane during the design process.

2. Dielectric layer: used to maintain insulation between the circuit and each layer, commonly known as the substrate.

3. Vias: Vias can allow two or more layers of circuits to conduct with each other.

4. Solder mask ink: divided into green oil, red oil, and blue oil according to different processes.

5. Screen printing: This is not a necessary component, its main function is to mark the names and positions of each part on the circuit board for easy maintenance and identification after assembly.

6. Surface treatment: Protection methods include tin spraying, gold, silver, tin, and organic soldering flux, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, collectively referred to as surface treatment.

The difference between FPC circuit board and integrated circuit: Integrated circuit generally refers to the integration of chips, such as the chips on the motherboard and inside the CPU, which are called integrated circuits, also known as integrated blocks. Printed circuit refers to the circuit board that we usually see, as well as the printed and soldered chips on the circuit board.
