Acceptance criteria for PCBA

Flat, L-shaped, and wing shaped pins, lateral offset, and offset of pin toe

No lateral deviation

The maximum lateral offset (A) shall not exceed 50% of the pin width (W) or 0.5 millimeters [0.02 inches], whichever is smaller.

The offset of the pin toe does not violate the minimum electrical clearance requirement.

The following figure shows an acceptable situation: the maximum lateral offset (A) is not greater than 50% of the pin width (W) or 0.5 millimeters [0.02 inches], determined by the smaller of these values.
